Dear friends in Christ,
Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent m.e has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24 NIV
When we put our trust in Jesus, we cross from death to life.
What a promise!
As students came across the parking lot to our
Breakfast Club on Tuesday and Thursday they were greeted by an eighteen-foot cross. At the foot of the cross was a sign that said, “Death” and at the head of the cross a sign that
said, “Life”. Students were asked to walk across the cross and thank Jesus for dying for our sins.
On the other side with our volunteers the students read John 5:24. Our open-ended question was, “Tell me when you first received Jesus? Or would you like to now?”
We celebrated with the students who have opened their hearts to Jesus as we listened to their stories. There were ten students who said, “Yes, I do want to receive Jesus” and then they prayed to receive Christ with our volunteers. What a week the angels must have had celebrating. Please pray for our youth (and across the world) as they hear the Gospel and
respond to his calling.
On a peach note: we will have Georgia Peaches available the week of July 7th. If you ould like to be notified when and where you an pick them up, please text me at 507.481.4894/
Thank you for all your support, encouragement and prayers for Youth For Christ in Austin. It is an honor to serve with you reaching out to youth!
